This was the last week of our Teaching Practice. By now, all of my Lesson Plans and Works have been completed and the last week's working days were made use of to be spent on revision. Also I was personally disheartened to realise that my days as a teacher with these little kids were almose nearing its end. We had Observation from college this week and three faculties observed and gave feedbacks on our classes. We Celebrated the Independence day on August 15th, and we the B. Ed trainees organized a small celebration along with the aid and support of Social Club. A small fancy dress competition was organized. Unfortunately, the rest of the week's days were declared holidays, as the State of Kerala met with a mighty disaster in the form of a devastating Flood. This was certainly one of the best weeks that we underwent here during the Teaching Practice at Ramapuram School. As we get more accustomed with teachers, we engaged almost all classes of UP and high school this week. Also I completed my forty lesson plans and the allotted portions. Observation from the College by our concerned Department Teacher, was also carried out during this week. I was happy to receive positive feedback. All the other daily routines were done in the usual rhythm. In this week, I did my Capacity Building Program . I took a session based on Activity Based Language Acquisition , which helps students to develop their  language skills. I made use of Audio and Visual inputs to make the session engaging and innovative

WEEKLY REPORT ON TEACHING PRACTICE ( 30th JULY - 3RD AUGUST)

It was indeed a wonderful week. By now we got into the full rhythm of our school, GHSS Ramapuram. The teachers are now very friendly and we are given each and every opportunity to showcase our skills and to master our teaching skills. I conducted examinations( mid term examination) for my 8.A students and I was really happy to see their good performance. They did made the points clear, but their language skills were a problem. The most energetic part of the day is during the Lunch Meals when we serve food to the students and take control of discipline. In addition to transacting lesson plans, we were involved in hosting various types of Literary fests in the school. As part of celebrating the Breastfeeding week, competitions were held on the topics Mother and motherhood. We were given the opportunity to assist the concerned teachers in organizing these events. There were five working days in this week and we were able to make the best out of them
