WEEKEND REPORT ON TEACHING PRACTICE

Our Teaching Practice resumed this week at GHSS Ramapuram.The Practice actually started on 13 th of last week. We had four working days this week.( June 18-22) We resumed transacting classes to our respective classes. I took one hour regular class on all days of the week. In addition, I engaged students on few substitution periods. I made use of the opportunity to gain fruitful experience by engaging students. Also we actively participated in many of the School's functions and meetings. " Vayana Day"was celebrated on Tuesday, 19th June.It was indeed a wonderful experience and we get to know how the School organizes such activities.  Also I completed classes of 7 Lesson plans .I took classes on the chapter The Shipwrecked Sailor .We served food to students in the noon interval. Assembly was conducted on two days. We keenly observed the procedures and activities of the school all through the week. I was very happy and satisfied to see the response and enthusiasm from my

TEACHING PRACTICE BEGINS

Our Teaching Practice started on 13th June 2018, at GHSS Ramapuram. Prior to June 13, we visited the institute on the previous week and met the Headmistress and the optional teachers. We handed over the letter from our Intitution Head to the headmistress and she directed us towards the optional teachers. The optional teacher assigned me Eighth Standard and allotted me one period on each day of the week on 8A Class. Prior to the beginning of the teaching practice, our HOD Smt. Anila Teacher instructed us to prepare the Lesson Plans. We did accordingly and the lesson plans and the teaching aids were checked and signed by the teacher. On 13th June 2018, we reached Ramapuram School at 09.30 am sharp. We were warmly greeted by the teachers and we observed the Institution and the routine working studiously. Then I met my optional teacher Jayasree, and got my Lesson Plan countersigned. In the Second period I took a class for Standard Eighth. The Chapter was,  ,"The Shipwrecked Sailor&

ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATIONS ON JUNE 5, 2018 AT OUR COLLEGE                                                                  #beatplasticpollution#                                            As we all know, World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5, 2018,  all over the world, with the purpose of reducing Global Warming and promoting environment friendly practices. Being the future teachers, upon whom the task of revolutionizing the future generation is entrusted with, we the students of Buddha College of Teacher Education actively celebrated World Environment Day at Our College.                                                                                     The Day began with an Assembly by the B. REFLECTIONS

I, Sreehari. R, is a student of B. Ed Degree Program under the University of Kerala. I am pursuing this course and mastering the art of the divine profession of Teaching at Buddha College of Teacher Education, Muthukulam, Alappuzha.
